Minimums, lead times & pricing
What is the minimum order quantity for perfume manufacturing at LOPAZ?
LOPAZ manufactures from a minimum of 500 bottles per SKU. That minimum applies per fragrance and per size, so a brand launching two scents in one 50 ml format would order 500 of each. Smaller runs are possible for 2 ml discovery vials and testers, which are quoted separately.
How long does it take LOPAZ to manufacture a perfume?
LOPAZ delivers a first production run four to six weeks after a brief is signed off. That window covers compounding, maceration, filtration, filling, labelling, cartoning and palletising. Private label runs sit at the fast end because there is no formulation stage; a bespoke composition adds the trial-and-revision period ahead of it, which depends on how many rounds the accord takes to approve.
How much does it cost to manufacture a private label perfume in the UAE?
Unit cost at LOPAZ is driven by four things: concentration, the raw materials in the formula, the bottle and cap you choose, and the volume you commit to. An extrait at 20–30% oil in a heavy-base flacon sits well above an eau de toilette in a stock bottle. LOPAZ returns an indicative price per unit within two working days of receiving a brief, so there is a real number before any commitment.
Does LOPAZ charge for samples?
LOPAZ submits numbered trial samples as part of a live bespoke brief, and revises them until the accord is signed off. Sampling costs are set out in the quotation rather than charged ad hoc, so a brand knows the cost of the development stage before it starts.
How do I start a production brief with LOPAZ?
Send LOPAZ a reference fragrance you like, the market you are selling into, and a volume per SKU. That is enough to quote from. LOPAZ replies within two working days with an olfactive direction, an indicative price per unit and a realistic lead time. Briefs go to a perfumer and a production lead, not to a sales inbox.
What LOPAZ actually does
What is the difference between private label and contract manufacturing?
Private label at LOPAZ means choosing a finished composition from our existing library and putting your name on it — no formulation stage, so the bottle ships in weeks. Contract manufacturing means LOPAZ produces to a formula or brief you bring, matching it batch to batch and holding the standard on file. Private label is faster and cheaper; contract manufacturing gives you a scent nobody else can sell.
Can LOPAZ create a custom fragrance from scratch?
Yes. LOPAZ perfumers compose bespoke fragrances from raw materials — oud, amber, florals, musks and gourmands — rather than tinting a supplier base. You send a reference, a mood or a market, and LOPAZ submits numbered trials on blotter and on skin, revising until you sign one off. Composing from raws is why a brief can be matched precisely instead of approximately.
Does LOPAZ supply bulk fragrance oil?
Yes. LOPAZ supplies its compositions as concentrate by the kilo for perfume, body care, candles, detergents and ambient scenting. Bulk oil ships with a safety data sheet, plus the performance data needed to formulate around it in a non-alcoholic base.
Can LOPAZ handle packaging and assembly as well as filling?
Yes — LOPAZ sources and assembles the whole package: flacons, caps, pumps, cartons, cellophane and batch coding, decorated and put together in the same facility that fills the juice. Nothing is sub-contracted out of sight, which is what holds the four-to-six week lead time.
Will LOPAZ fill a formula I already own?
Yes. LOPAZ takes filling-and-finishing-only work: you supply the approved formula or the finished concentrate, and LOPAZ macerates, chills, filters, fills, crimps, labels, codes and cartons it. The formula stays yours and is held under NDA.
Quality, compliance & IP
What compliance paperwork ships with a LOPAZ order?
Every LOPAZ production run ships with an allergen declaration, a safety data sheet and market-ready label copy for your market, so a brand is not left sourcing compliance paperwork after the goods arrive. Requirements differ by territory — tell LOPAZ where you are selling and the documentation is prepared for that market.
Who owns the formula LOPAZ develops for my brand?
The formula stays yours. LOPAZ develops bespoke work under NDA, does not resell a composition it built for a client, and does not put that composition into its own line. Signed-off standards are retained purely so LOPAZ can reproduce your batch exactly.
How does LOPAZ guarantee batch-to-batch consistency?
LOPAZ retains the signed-off formula standard and a physical sample of every production run. Batch three smells like batch one because LOPAZ can go back and prove what batch one was. Compounding is weighed to the gram against that retained standard rather than reconstructed from a recipe.
What concentration does LOPAZ manufacture at?
LOPAZ manufactures at any concentration a brand needs, but the house standard is extrait de parfum at 20–30% perfume oil, against the 5–15% typical of an eau de toilette. Higher oil load means fewer sprays and longer wear, and it is the strength LOPAZ own twelve-bottle line is built at.
Why does LOPAZ macerate for eight weeks?
LOPAZ macerates every batch for a minimum of eight weeks before filtering and filling. Maceration lets the materials marry, so the fragrance on the shelf smells the way it did when it was approved rather than sharp and unsettled. It is the step most contract fillers skip, because it costs them tank time.
Does LOPAZ use animal-derived materials?
No. LOPAZ uses no animal-derived materials in anything it produces, for its own line or a client's. Musks and ambergris accords are synthetic. Naturals are used where they genuinely perform better — oud, rose, iris, saffron — and synthetics where they do.
Location & shipping
Where is LOPAZ located?
LOPAZ manufactures in Ajman, United Arab Emirates — about 30 km from Dubai. Compounding, maceration, filtration, filling, assembly and cartoning all happen in its own facility there, and the company is reachable on +971 54 257 6685 from Saturday to Thursday, 10:00 to 20:00 Gulf Standard Time.
Does LOPAZ ship internationally?
Yes. LOPAZ palletises and ships worldwide from Ajman with export documentation prepared, including the safety data sheets needed to clear fragrance shipments. The UAE base makes GCC, wider MENA, Europe and South Asia routes straightforward.
Can I visit the LOPAZ facility?
Yes — LOPAZ hosts client visits to its Ajman facility, and brands running a first production run are welcome to see the line. Arrange it through the enquiry form or on WhatsApp at +971 54 257 6685 so a production lead is on the floor when you arrive.
The LOPAZ own-brand line
Does LOPAZ sell its own perfumes?
Yes. LOPAZ sells twelve extraits de parfum under its own name across five olfactive families — oud, floral, amber, musk and gourmand — in 50 ml and 100 ml. The line exists as a working reference: it is the shortest way to show a prospective client what the facility can do, and any of those accords can be licensed for another brand's label.
How much do LOPAZ perfumes cost?
LOPAZ extraits run from AED 265 to AED 380 for 50 ml and AED 395 to AED 510 for 100 ml, depending on the materials in the formula — the oud compositions sit at the top of that range. A 2 ml sample comes with every order, and delivery within the UAE is free over AED 300.
How long does a LOPAZ fragrance last on skin?
LOPAZ extraits wear for roughly seven to twelve hours from two sprays, with the oud and amber compositions at the longer end and the lighter florals at the shorter. That comes from the 20–30% oil concentration rather than from any fixative trick, and it is why the house recommends fewer sprays than an eau de toilette would need.
Can I try LOPAZ fragrances before buying a full bottle?
Yes. LOPAZ sells 2 ml discovery sets — all twelve extraits, a five-piece oud and amber set, or any six you pick — and what you pay for the set comes off your first full bottle. Each vial is around ten sprays, which is enough to wear a fragrance properly over several days.
